Bayern Munich and Liverpool both share same problem ahead of pre-season clash

I take a lot of inspiration from the Athletic and their style of long-form, high-quality writing - and I've tried to emulate that in a shorter format here. I took a shared problem that both Liverpool and Bayern Munich had heading into their pre-season game and explored it, as well as transfer targets etc. 2 months into the new season and Bayern failed to recruit in that area, while Liverpool signed Wataru Endo and Bayern's Ryan Gravenberch.
